Corporate Information

Ticoon was founded in 1996 and has been developing financial services and wealth management technology solutions ever since.

In 1996 Ticoon developed one of the 1st online solutions for employees of large fortune 500 companies so that those employees could view their benefits online. Ticoon worked with many of the countries largest employers to consolidate group life and group pension information into a web based employee portal. Ticoon developed self-serve life goal planners and cash flow programs to assist employees to understand the current and future value of their benefits plans.

In 1997 Ticoon signed an exclusive engagement with one of Canada’s largest banks to integrate its consumer tools into the banks online banking platform. Over the next 4 years Ticoon designed and implemented a consumer portal that aggregated all of the consumers investment and banking information into a single portal where consumers could analyse their information and shop for appropriate products and solutions online.

In 2001, Ticoon evolved again when it started working with several of Canada’s largest mutual fund dealers to enhance it’s data aggregation solution and consumer portal by building a complementary advisor desktop solution. Between 2001 and 2007 Ticoon expanded it’s solution and client base working with brokerage firms, fund dealers, banks, life insurance companies and asset managers to deliver a holistic wealth management solution that served consumers, advisors and dealers. Ticoon integrated dozens of in-house and 3rd party investment, insurance and banking data feeds to support it’s clients vision for a consolidated view of their customer.

In 2007 Ticoon partnered with one of the world’s largest life insurance and financial services firms to migrate its solution to a service offering (ASP). In 2009 Ticoon delivered a single wealth management solution to service the entire Canadian marketplace. Ticoon’s solution consolidates investment, insurance, banking and other data from multiple providers to create a single view of the consumer. Ticoon’s solutions support multiple financial product manufacturers, dealers, advisors and consumers, all from a single platform.

Ticoon is partnering with numerous financial institutions, insurance companies and service firms to continuously enhance the platform with innovative new programs and services.
