Rick Hyde
President & CEO
Rick’s expertise in the financial services industry is based on almost twenty years of experience designing, selling & implementing web-based wealth management and financial services solutions for many of North America’s leading banks, life insurance carriers, fund dealers and brokerage firms. Rick works with executive teams to design solutions that drive ROI and support the strategic vision. Rick participates in numerous financial technology steering committees and industry organizations helping to create innovative new solutions to drive the financial technology industry forward. Rick is the founder of Ticoon.
Bob Ahrens
Vice President, Financial Services Solutions
Bob’s deep understanding of financial services comes from 20 years working in a variety of roles from software developer to business analyst and product manager, all within the financial services industry. Bob works closely with Ticoon’s clients to design appropriate solutions and to ensure successful implementations. Before joining Ticoon, Bob worked as a Senior Software Developer with Sun Media Inc. where he developed and provided support for his team’s projects.
Derek Schenk
Vice President, Technology
Derek brings more than 16 years of experience in information technology within the financial services sector. Prior to joining Ticoon, Derek was System Architect for Univeris Corporation, a provider of enterprise wealth management software. Derek also served as Director, Architecture and Security for Cartier Partners Financial where he was responsible for managing an infrastructure to service over 3500 financial advisors and staff. Derek is responsible for architecture & design as well as R&D at Ticoon.
Carol Babcock
Vice President, Client Services
Carol brings 16 years of experience in various positions within the financial technology & services sector. Prior to joining Ticoon, Carol’s past experiences include: Account Manager at EDS-Solcorp, Manager at PwC, VP Operations at Financial Concepts and VP Operations at Balanced Planning. In each of these roles, Carol was responsible for technology, transition and implementation, in Canada and U.S, for back offices, branch offices and advisors’. Carol runs the Client Services team at Ticoon.
Patrick De Angelis
Vice President, Delivery
Patrick brings more than 11 years of project delivery experience in information technology within the financial services sector. Prior to joining the Ticoon team, Patrick headed the Corporate PMO at Maple Leaf Foods. Patrick also served as Vice President of PMO & Delivery at Filogix where he was responsible for the implementation and management of a Project Management Office and the delivery of all projects to its clients which included all the major Canadian Banks.
Tim Wesseling
Vice President, Sales
Tim brings more than twenty years of sales experience supporting the North American financial services marketplace. Prior to joining the Ticoon team, Tim spent seven years with Thomson Reuters where he managed sales efforts across both the corporate and financial services channels. Throughout his career, Tim has held senior sales management positions with both Star Data Systems and CGI focused exclusively on the financial services industry.
Mike Donati
Vice President, Product
Mike brings over 20 years of executive experience in the financial services and insurance technology sector as a specialist in enterprise application development, technology consulting, client and partner relationship management, sales, marketing and business development. Mike is responsible for the overall strategy and development of Ticoon’s products and data. Before joining Ticoon, Mike served as SVP Operations for SunGard’s Enterprise Incentive Management business unit. Mike was also a founder of DSPA Software which specialized in global insurance commission solutions and was instrumental in growing the company to an international client base before the acquisition by SunGard.
Mariana Barrera
Manager, Quality Assurance
Mariana has worked in the Canadian financial services industry for almost 10 years in a variety of quality assurance positions. Prior to Ticoon Mariana was with Univeris Corporation where she performed QA analysis in a back office environment. Mariana holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Mexico and runs Ticoon’s QA team.
Vesko Stajic
Manager, Data Engineering
Vesko has been extensively involved in all phases of software development life cycle over the last 14 years, overseeing the planning, logical and physical architecture modeling and design, and development requirements. Vesko’s background includes creation and support for multiple US & Canadian group benefit, accounting and finance technology solutions. Vesko specializes in data aggregation, consolidation and management and runs Ticoon’s data engineering team.
